The Saracen Ride is the most important Festival since centuries, of Sarteano, and it is renewed as a rooted tradition in the soul of its inhabitants, divided in five districts. This festival takes place every year the 15^th August in the afternoon. Magnificent are the allegories, the costumes, the parades with flag wavers of each district. Exciting is the full gallop ride with the knights (horse man riders). The first documents on the ride dates back to 1853.
